da Berry Fresh Market

da Berry Fresh Market

West Side’s Farm Stand on 520 Hopkins Street
HOURS: Wednesday to Sunday 10am - 6pm

A combination of fresh produce market and job training program, da Berry Fresh will give back to the community in every aspect of it’s operation!

So how does a produce stand give back?

  1. New Jobs
    1. Constant hires – these will be employees that help to run the market in a way that provides continuous quality of service and leadership.
    2. Trainees – these will be temporary employees that are completing an internship.
  2. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) – da Berry Fresh Market will give farmers/local growers in the Iberia Parish community priority when we purchase our inventory.  Signage within the market will allow shoppers to know who grew their food!
  3. Affordable, healthy produce choices – da Berry Fresh Market will see to keep prices low and affordable.  It is our hope to be able to accept food stamps!  Every week, we’ll have this seasons’ produce ready for pick up, saving you time and money.  Find recipes on our Facebook page! Pre-purchase your CSA Vegi Pack today! You can prepay for 8 weeks, or buy one week at a time.  Click here for more information!
  4. Job Training – along with other community partners, da Berry Fresh Market’s primary goal is to serve as an educational program that gives people in the community much needed job training skills and experience.  Once a trainee has gone through the educational portion, they will be able to apply that training at da Berry Fresh Market.  Our vision to enable graduates to be able to present their resume with education & experience; a two-punch combo that can make a difference in your employment eligibility and job retention!
